Responsibilities
  • Reporting under the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is accountable for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the assigned line/s following the implementation of applicable maintenance, quality, occupational safety and line HR systems, anchored to business needs and objectives. The Production Supervisor implements strategies and action items to achieve the goals and objectives of the production line by monitoring key performance indicators and line trends. Additionally, the role focuses on efficient resource management to maximize material savings, cost improvement, and overall equipment effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of any engineering course (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronics Engineering); license and/or certification, or graduate studies, preferably related to the relevant engineering field, are advantages.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with 1 year in a supervisory capacity; experience in food and beverage manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Deep knowledge in end-to-end value chain management for Production, spanning Production Planning, Material Requisition, Production Operations and Warehousing.
  • Aptitude in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC.
  • Prominent leadership, communication and basic management skills (planning, leading, organizing and controlling), with strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail and organized record-keeping.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum) and SAP.
  • Knowledge of ISHIKAWA, BEC and 6W2H methodologies.
  • Excellent people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, employee discipline, performance management, talent development and change management; familiarity with basic labor laws and line human resources functions is preferred.
