About The Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team in Porto Alegre. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven initiatives. Your role involves transforming raw data into structured information to enable key business insights and decisions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from various sources into a centralized platform;
  • Develop strategies for data monitoring, performance optimization, and governance, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance;
  • Collaborate on data modeling using DBT to transform raw data into actionable information;
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and data requirements;
  • Stay updated with emerging data technologies and best practices to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL;
  • Experience with Python;
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
  • Familiarity with data extraction tools like Airflow or Airbyte;
  • Experience with GitHub for version control;
  • Intermediate English skills;
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and BI tools.
Bonus Skills
  • Knowledge of DBT for data modeling;
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform;
  • Knowledge of data catalog tools such as OpenMetadata or DataHub.

Work Model

Initially, work on-site for three months to build strong team relationships. Afterwards, you may apply for a hybrid model, working at least three days a week on-site, balancing collaboration and autonomy.
