Overview

As a Sr. Product Data Analyst, you'll be directly impacting our results through insights and reports. You'll work closely with product managers, researchers, and other business stakeholders to help with prioritization, assessments, and business recommendations. You will partner with the Analytics team to nurture a data-driven culture within the company, making data easier to consume through interactive reports, usable datasets, and documentation.

Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Modeling & Analysis: A marketplace is a complex system with many signals. Identify gaps, insights, or optimizations. Advanced SQL experience and intermediate Python or R are required.
  • Reporting: Build and maintain a trustworthy, up-to-date reporting system using Tableau and Metabase, understanding team needs and delivering user-friendly dashboards.
  • Analytics Engineering: Occasionally work on the inner layers of the Data Warehouse to provide clean and documented datasets. Consolidate business needs into the Data Warehouse as the single source of truth. Proficiency with DBT and SQL is required.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4+ years in data and analytics at data-driven companies
  • Education: STEM or business background or relevant education that enables data-driven decision making
  • Learning Mindset: Ability to deeply understand problems, ask the right questions, and learn the business uniquely
  • Team player: Collaborates well with others and fosters a positive, trustworthy environment
  • Business focus: Understands how analytics connects to product, customers, and financials
  • Bias for action: Proactive, pragmatic, and able to deliver results without over-engineering
