Engineering Strategy Specialist

We are looking for an Engineering Strategy Specialist to take on a strategic role within our Engineering department. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Engineering, this role will be responsible for leading the development and evolution of critical engineering initiatives and processes, driving efficiency, technical maturity, and excellence across the organization. This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating, promoting, and accelerating the progress of strategic engineering themes. The primary challenge will be ensuring that all stakeholders involved in strategic decisions are aligned and equipped with the necessary resources to achieve optimal solutions. Strong collaboration and mediation skills with Engineering Managers and Software Engineers will be essential.

• Focusing on a subset of strategic engineering themes aligned with current organizational priorities.
• Mapping the context, identifying key problems, and engaging relevant stakeholders.
• Developing clear, well-documented solutions aligned with the strategic engineering vision and company goals.
• Leading iterations and driving the implementation of solutions, either directly or in partnership with responsible teams.

• Proven experience in technical leadership, engineering process management, and/or continuous improvement within technology organizations.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, quality assurance, and technical governance.

• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, balancing long-term vision with practical execution.
• Skilled in articulating, documenting, and refining solutions in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong multitasking capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle technical challenges and devise creative solutions.
• Experience in defining, developing, and tracking impact indicators for engineering initiatives and processes.
• Familiarity with engineering rituals and practices aimed at fostering team alignment and strategic execution.
