We are looking for a Project Manager with solid experience in the Automotive industry to lead cross-functional projects from concept to SOP (Start of Production), ensuring excellence in delivery, timing, financial and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage automotive projects from RFQ to serial production, ensuring scope, cost, timing, financial and quality targets are met.
  • Be the primary interface with OEMs and Tier 1 customers, ensuring proactive communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, logistics, purchasing, manufacturing) to drive project milestones.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation plans, ensuring early detection of deviations.
  • Organize and conduct project review meetings internally and with customers.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and aligned with APQP and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Monitor KPIs such as project margin, timing performance, investment (CAPEX) and technical deliverables.
  • Support and track change management processes (ECRs/SMRs) with impact evaluation on cost and timeline.
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management within the automotive sector (OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers).
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and automotive product development processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on profile with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP is a differential.
  • PMP certification or similar is an asset.
