Application Support Analyst

Come to one of the biggest IT services companies in the world. We are looking for an Application Support Analyst who wants to learn and transform their career.

In this role you will:

  • Apply Computer Science concepts of data structures in practical use cases
  • Problem solving in a development or production environment, including observing patterns, analysing root cause and suggesting ideas to resolve issues
  • Communicate clearly the technical and functional aspects of a development/production problem to drive solutions with App Dev teams and senior stakeholders
  • One of the following programming languages: Java and Angular
  • One of the following scripting languages: Shell script, Perl or Python
  • One of the following RDBMS environments: Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle or DB2
  • Experience in cluster computing and Big Data solutions: Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, XRS using public cloud
  • Degree in Computer Science

Application Support with Cloud (relocation to Portugal)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • English level B2 or higher
  • Willingness to relocate to Portugal (mandatory)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
