Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Software Development Manager to lead our engineering team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, provide strategic leadership, and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong people management.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Technical leadership: Lead complex and multi-disciplinary projects, help the team with problem solving by offering suggestions, technical guidelines and feedback, ensure quality, performance and security. Deliver results and challenge the team, actively participating in technical discussions, architecture and other decisions, focused on development routines.
- Project Management: ensure valuable deliveries, manage timeline, ceremonies, project metrics, remove blocks, report project status, collect and apply lessons learned, propose changes to the existing software development process to achieve better results.
- People Management: evaluations, IDP, feedback, 1:1, ensure processes are followed, improve productivity, develop technical and soft skills, motivate the team, provide career direction, oversee hiring and dismissal processes, and retain talents.
- Relationship management with multiple stakeholders (both technical and business), taking accountability to deliver software solutions and secure the development team's commitment.
- Suggest and promote process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas or equivalent work experience;
- Experience with Software Development;
- Experience in a leadership role in software development projects;
- Experience in delivering software projects, management, building and staffing of software development teams;
- Ability to manage customer expectations while working with cross-functional teams to meet delivery goals;
- Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies;
- Drive to innovate and deliver roadmap features with agility and high quality;
- Hands-on profile, actively involved in technical and architectural discussions.
