We are seeking a highly qualified Data Scientist specialized in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our technology team. This role offers a relaxed and dynamic work environment with daily learning opportunities through large projects with major clients worldwide.

You will design and implement intelligent systems using both classic and advanced Machine Learning (ML) techniques, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on data exploration, model building and evaluation, and deploy AI solutions in production environments ranging from cloud platforms to embedded devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop AI-driven software systems using ML models
  • Explore and clean large datasets, perform feature engineering, and conduct statistical analysis
  • Apply supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning methods
  • Utilize algorithms such as XGBoost, K-means, PCA, Neural Networks, GANs, Reinforcement Learning, LLMs, and more
  • Implement data augmentation and regularization techniques for various data types: images, time series, tabular data, and natural language
  • Train, tune, evaluate, and document ML models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras
  • Prepare models for deployment in diverse environments (cloud, on-premises, embedded devices)
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate models into software architecture and data pipelines
  • Write technical reports and stay updated with the latest AI/ML trends
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning within a Scrum team
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written, technical level)
  • Proven experience in building, training, and validating ML and AI models
  • Extensive experience handling complex and heterogeneous data (cleaning, deduplication, preparation)
  • Strong programming skills in Python (Scala, R, and PySpark are advantageous)
  • Experience with AI frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Caffe, etc.
  • Solid foundation in algorithms, statistics, regression, decision trees, neural networks
  • Experience with time series, computer vision, and NLP
  • Familiarity with Data Lake environments: Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Kafka
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Knowledge of automated and white-box testing
Nice To Have
  • Experience with LLMs, federated learning, GPU acceleration
  • Deployment of models on embedded or edge devices
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices and model lifecycle management in production
  • Experience working with international or distributed teams

  • Experience with international projects
  • Advanced English skills for collaboration
  • Ability to work independently in remote/distributed settings

Opportunity for hybrid work in Curitiba-PR and Sorocaba-SP, with 2-3 days per week in the office. Fluency in English is mandatory.
