ABOUT OCEAN NETWORK EXPRESS (ONE)

Ocean Network Express (ONE) was incepted on July 7, 2017 following the liner service integrations of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” LINE), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). The new entity functions from its global headquarters in Singapore, supported by regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates. Operating more than 230 vessels, it offers an expeditious and a reliable international network of over 180 services to 120 countries and beyond. ONE is the world’s sixth largest container carrier with a fleet size of approximately 1.8 million TEU. ONE is a member of THE Alliance (THEA), a global ocean carrier consortium.

PROCUREMENT SR ANALYST (CPM)

Responsabilities

  • Latin America Scope to support Inland and Ocean Procurement services related to Container off-dock depot facilities, container transportation – truck, feeder, barge and train, container maintenance and repair services, reefer services, gensets, inland chassis, trucking “GPS” and Container Freight Station (CFS) and any other service needed to attend our operations, such as port terminals, shipping pilotage, launch and towage services;
  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for applications entry in system to tariffs, vendors, sites, sanction check form, Compliance etc.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output;
  • Ensure all appropriate approvals have been received;
  • Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents;
  • Register data into database application and ensure correct Cost codes allocation;
  • Responding to information requests from authorized members.

Requirements

  • Barchelor's degree;
  • Advanced English;
  • Intermediate Spanish (desired);
  • Previous experience in Shipping or related companies;
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet analysis,using Excel and Google Sheets;
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills including planning, standards of excellence, personal accountability, and managing self;
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment;
  • Ability to understand Procurement negotiation (rates schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements).
