Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains, assists, and adjusts all new and present network hardware, software, and communication techniques.
- Monitors network performance and troubleshoots problem areas as required.
- Responds to user requests and service desk referrals when troubleshooting computer software, hardware, peripherals or production-related equipment issues.
- Coordinates network traffic along with LAN and WAN installation.
- Inspects LAN and WAN infrastructure for problems.
- Assists in the installation of computer network connections including cabling.
- Addresses and solves system failures to increase network uptime.
- Evaluates network functionality and create data backups.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- General knowledge of IT functions required.
- Good skills in customer service, and verbal, written and mathematical skills.
- Good skills in supporting of the company's operating system in a domain environment.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidential information is required.
