**The Role**: Agribusiness Commercial Specialist, LATAM

**The Location**: Sao Paulo, Brazil

**The Team**: The individual will join a team of Agribusiness sales specialists responsible for working in collaboration with the global commercial team and research teams to drive and enhance client relationships and discover and diagnose new opportunities for growth within targeted accounts operating across the Agri-value chain and beyond.

They will join a successful a well-established team where we have seen impressive growth in recent years, stemming from both the opportunities and challenges that exist in Agribusiness and related industries.

**The Impact**: This role plays a critical part in the continued growth of our Agribusiness revenues in LATAM. As a key agricultural hotspot, we have significant opportunity both in terms of new customer acquisition and growth potential of our existing client base, particularly in the Biofuels and Food Commodities space, where a need for a consultative selling approach to help diagnose client problems and design solutions is critical to success.

The focused Agribusiness role will play an important part in enhancing and expanding our awareness within the region and creating new opportunities for growth across subscriptions and consulting - resulting in increased Net Sales and ACV. Through a deep understanding and expert knowledge of our market, deliverables and competitors, the role is critical in adding value to our client engagements.

**Responsibilities**:
Research, pre-qualify and engage with prospects developing a hypothesis about their needs and an insight-led approach of engagement
Discover and diagnose sales opportunities acquiring information about client structure, personas, key objectives
Help to onboard clients, review accounts and drive subscription usage through close monitoring of utilization statistics, account planning and client engagements
Maintain and develop a growing pipeline and forecast with accuracy
Travel wherever required to meet clients and participate in key industry events
Work closely with cross-functional teams (eg commercial, analysts, consulting) to define and execute on regional strategy
Be an ambassador for Agribusiness both internally and externally, helping to educate colleagues and clients about who we are, what we do, and how we help clients

**Collaborative**: This is a team selling role in where the individual will be partnering with Commercial Managers of LATAM, working jointly on sales opportunities
Influencing skills are essential not only with customers but also internally, to motivate and engage commercial managers to scope and close new opportunities

**Solution-selling**: be able to scope client needs and relate
