**The**
**Role***: DevOps Engineer

**The Team***:

- The team works in agile environment and adheres to all principles of Agile. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with a team of intelligent, ambitious and hard-working software professionals. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for the architecture, design and quick turnaround of development of our products with high quality.

**Responsibilities***:

- Work in the agile environment and adhere to all DevOps best practices.
- Active co-operation/collaboration with the teams at various geographic locations
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide prompt response and support in resolving critical issues (along with the development team**)**:

- May require after hours/weekend work for production implementations

**Technical Qualifications***:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Strong industry experience in DevOps Tooling and infrastructure automation.
- Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in Linux-based environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud environments preferably AWS
- Strong knowledge of orchestration tool (Kubernetes)
- Experience with automated deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering tools (e.g. Jenkins)
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of container based environment (Docker Containers)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, Javascript, Nodejs, Maven, Shell, PowerShell, Perl)
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Prior consulting, advisory, or professional services experience is preferred
- Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS and SVN

- Ability to build environments, systems, and solutions from the ground up
