Snowflake Developer

**Description**:
Translating business functional requirements into technical specifications (e.g. logical model design, data flows etc), and assist with work planning and estimates after proposal designs and business requirements are validated.

**Activities include**:

- Strong technical background (Hana, Snowflake, Qlik, etc)
- Good business understanding of Fuels Analytics use cases, models.
- Accountable for overall performance improvement, model optimization, quality assurance and sustainment of data models
- Best practices development & enforcement
- Responsible for understanding/investigating the end to end data flow
- Assist with incident management, technical testing, solution validation, and data modelling
- Hands-on critical break-fix items or/and fast track prototyping/exploration modeling activities
- Ensure technical specs/documentation is up-to-date
- Ensure technical specs/documentation are up-to-date
- Be Production safeguard, team safeguard

**Required Advanced Level of Technical Competencies**:

- Deep understanding of data integration patterns (batch, replication, APIs, event-based, etc)
- Programing skills (advanced in SQL, Snowflake, basics of JAVA or Pyhton)
- Knowledge on data management/governance processes (data dictionary, taxonomies, data modelling)
- Data manipulation tools such as: SSMS, TOAD, Access, Excel
- Experience in creation of new databases, data lakes, data warehouses, etc., (on-prem or cloud)
- Experience working with data integration tools such as: ADF, Qlik Replicate, Fivetran
- Working understanding of APIs
- Desired to have familiarity with SAP ECC modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.) and business process (OtC, PtP, SC, Financials, PtA, etc.)
- Applied knowledge on business intelligence technologies (Snowflake, HANA, MS SQL, Oracle, BOBI, Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge on change management and code repository/pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with strong English proficiency
- Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills, and employ judgment to offer thoughtful, concise input toward resolutions of problems
- Be able to translate business processes into data requirements
- Leadership skills needed to successfully promote ideas, coordinate work activities, and plan deliverables within a project team.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with equivalent experience
- Able to work independently and in a team
