An opportunity has become available for an experienced and qualified equine vet nurse at a practice in Victoria.
This is a full-time role. There is a well-managed after-hours requirement.
This is a unique and interesting position, offering a variety of nursing in the hospital, surgery and out-calls. You will have experienced surgeons, medicine specialists, veterinarians, nurses, and support staff working with you.
The development of a state-of-art surgical facility was completed in early 2023, enabling the team to offer a dedicated 24/7 surgical service. The hospital also houses a 10-horse surgery barn to accommodate the surgical cases, offering effective biosecurity between elective procedures and hospitalised patients. This hospital and intensive care facility also provide a 24/7 intensive care service supported by skilled specialists, veterinarians and a dedicated nursing team.
The full-service, purpose-built equine hospital is located in a pretty, peaceful town with a fantastic community spirit in Victoria.
