Position Summary:
The Sales Specialist establishes relationships with physicians, maintaining and documenting all activities related to the Alexion products or the rare diseases to which the Alexion products are indicated to physicians in a defined geographic territory. Develop and direct products’ demand generation and disease awareness strategies at key accounts assigned in the territory.

Main Responsabilities:

- Creates and maintains strategically targeted account-specific activities’ or actions’ plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of the territory dynamics for the Alexion products’ demand generation.
- Identify growth ad other opportunities in the territory, proposing actions and acting quickly and effectively.
- Promote and/or participate in events related to the Alexion products and/or the rare diseases to which the Alexion products are indicated.
- Effectively manage time, resources and workload.
- Tracks activities and submits reports on activities accurately & on-time.
- Review and propose improvements in the panel of physicians in Brazil, focusing on maintaining the treatments provided by Alexion.
- Develop and maintain strong in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge of the Alexion products and/or the rare diseases to which the Alexion products are indicated.
- Work with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company’s values, policies and, specially, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
- Build trusting relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, and proactively interacts with cross-functional teams to refine product and disease related initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (administration, marketing or healthcare).
- Experience as a representative or consultant in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
- Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical sales and/or demand generation experience (oncology, hospital, immunology, transplants, etc.).
- Valid national driver's license (CNH).
- Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel.

Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate level English.
- Master's degree.
- Experience in the orphan or ultra-orphan neurology.

- Communication: develop and transmit information in a clear, objective, and efficient way (verbal and written)
- Decision making: make appropriate and timely decisions to ensure the proper course of business.

- Analytical profile: analyze the environment, scenarios, data, market and from this analysis generate information of value, knowledge, present and future possibilities related to policies, practices, trends that can contribute to the business.
- Strategic planning: Manage time well, plan each visit or approach, organize yourself to reach the established goals and anticipate problems, look at future possibilities and convert them into decisions and tactical actions.
