Responsibilities:

The HSEQ Manager will report to the Corporate Director of HSEQ and dotted line to the Regional Area Manager and will be responsible to manage and control the activities and responsibilities of departments belonging to the HSE & Environment, provide support to the operational and administrative management regarding the Legal Conformity inherent to the Safety, Environment and Occupational Health practices, as well as international conventions applicable to the activities developed in the Maritime Units and Operational Support Base.

**Key Accountabilities**:
As a member of the onshore management team the HSEQ Manager shall effectively manage all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental system for the operating region of Brazil. Driving the implementation and continuous improvement in all HSEQ policies, procedure, and strategies. Key duties and responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

- Monitor the implementation of the Company’s HSEQ management system and propose improvements (where appropriate)
- Develop and coordinate execution of Company’s internal and external verification/audit programs
- Lead management reviews relating to the Company’s management system
- Liaise with customer and supplier HSEQ departments regarding nonconformities, audits, and contractual requirements
- Provide an HSEQ support service across all departments, supporting team managers, involvement in tender or pre-qualification processes (as required) and ongoing contractual compliance efforts
- Provide communication, guidance and information to management and employees on HSEQ legislation and HSEQ matters
- Coordinate Company and HSEQ inductions programs
- Ensure the Company follows all legal obligations in the management of HSEQ
- Liaise with external HSEQ professionals and advisors
- Participate and support the Company as a member of the Company’s onshore management team
- Provide management information and feedback to HSEQ department team members and employees to ensure they are kept adequately informed
- Liaison with other Company Regional HSEQ departments on matters that relate to key system implementation and effectiveness
- Identify employee development and training needs
- Coordinate and liaise with Certification Bodies, Regulatory Bodies (MTE, MPT, ANP, IBAMA, RMI, ABS etc.)
- Be in compliance with all clients HSE requirements related to keep the Rig working on the contract without nonconformity and in compliance with Brazilian legislation
- Coordinate and perform external supplier audits (where appropriate)
- Undertake any other duties as the Company may reasonably require.

HSEQ Manager Responsibilities:

- Manage HSEQ team to effectively support the activities of Health, Safety and Environmental Operations, with a view to achieving the effectiveness and effectiveness of the Results, in line with the mission, vision and values of the company
- Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues, and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice
- Report all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality concerns to the Management
- Ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented, understood, and adhered to at the work location, so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment
- Promote a proactive commitment to Company’s HSEQ initiatives
- Lead high risk incident investigations and compile incident reports.
- Focal point for communication with client and regulatory agencies relating to all HSE matters.
- Coach team members to achieve best practice and promote a positive culture.
- Provide support and advice on all HSEQ matters
- Record, monitor and report on HSEQ performance
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Perform HSE weekend duty when required
- Review commercial proposals from suppliers for the best cost benefit to the company
- Provide support to the activities of the Internal Commission for the Prevention of Accidents - CIPA
- Review monthly costs and invoices from service providers, to meet pre-determined requirements
- Perform other duties as required
- Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs

Qualifications:
**Basic**:

- At least 18 years of age
- Engineering bachelor’s degree (Safety as Preferrable)
- Experience of at least 08 years in HSE Area, considering 03 years in Management position
- Fluent English
