**Job Title **Specialist Inventory II

**Reports To**:Parts Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager

**Position Summary**

Intermediate level position that compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties. Works under general supervision

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
- Keeps stock available for back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
- Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items.
- Notifies supervisor of irregularities and when stock reaches designated reorder point.
- Maintains good housekeeping in area and adheres to established Company safety policies at all times.
- Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
- Requires operation of heavy equipment, such as forklift on a frequent frequency

**Required Education
**Preferred Education**
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
**Required Experience & Skills**
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for use of company vehicles.

**Preferred Experience & Skills**
- Minimum of 3 year experience in purchasing and technical parts.
- Knowledge of some of the parts in inventory and basic inventory management.
- Ability to work in basic computer programs.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentage, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, diagram, verbal. Or scheduled form.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to read and decipher parts manuals.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate all Material Handling Equipment, such as hand truck, pallet jack, forklifts, and delivery vehicle (will be required to pass forklift training, may use lift truck, sidewinder, and cherry picker if so trained.)
- Knowledge of property accountability as related to; storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping or transferring of property.

**Physical Demands**
- Requires employee to stand for at least 50% of the time
- Requires employee to sit for at least 50% of the time
- Requires employee to occasionally climb stairs or ladders to pull material from shelvs and must be able to maintain balance on stairs or ladders without assistance.
- Must be able to communicate and respond to coworkers, vendors, suppliers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devices
- Must be able to constantly lift at least 5# pounds
- Requires work in outdoor conditions, including unairconditioned facility
- Requires moving and maintaining self in different positions stoop to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Must wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, steel-toed boots, as applicable.
- Position requires travel 25 % of the time domestic
- Position requires employee drive 25% of the time occasionally
