**The Role**:
**What’s the role?**

To deliver of world-class joint venture audit management. This encompasses alignment and optimization between operated and non-operated financial activities in the areas of incoming and outgoing JV audit planning / hosting, accounting procedures (and related agreements), cost / benefit recovery issues with partners, organizing / hosting stakeholder meetings, delivery of some specific JV (financial) reports and facilitation of cross learning between Operated and Non-Operated Ventures auditing.

The primary objective is to ensure cost recovery under Joint Operating and/or Production Sharing Agreements is executed in a highly professional and commercially astute manner, also focusing on commercial/governance value within contract and industry guidelines.

Formulate & communicate with NOV Management team to identify risk areas when developing the NOV audit scope and terms of reference.

Express Shell’s views on PSC and JOA issues and help/support seek solutions for outstanding audit findings with partners.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible to perform the NOV audit and receive Partner´s for SOV audits.
- Responsible for writing, content agreement and issuing of the audit report with JV partners.
- Responsible to monitor the Audit status giving regular feedback to the JV Asset team in country.
- Responsible to address/share all the findings internally and propose new controls, improvement process and create a learn incident if necessary to avoid new cases in the future.

**What we need from you?**
- With 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in audit and financial experience.
- Knowledge in Cost analysis, Accounting, Billing, Cash call and Budget;
- Advanced English (speaking and writing) is required considering that all reports are submitted in English.
- Capability to work under pressure and with sharp deadlines;
- Commercial acumen and strong business partnering focus. Demonstrates the courage to influence and co-lead the business by bringing analytics and insights to the table, speaking up about risks and creating focus on value.
- Strong initiator of cross-Business/Function and/or external collaborative efforts with bottom line focus.
- Proven demonstration of change management behaviors: e.g. building relationships, influencing course of action, flexible thinking, yielding creative solutions, commercial mind-set, self-starter, courageous.
- A deep knowledge of Joint Venture Agreements, Industry Guidelines and Standards, and industry and country specific practices with regards to cost recovery, cost allocation processes and other accounting issues.
- Strong analytical and core finance skills are required with the ability to identify cause and effect relationships, patterns, implications of data, and be able to integrate pieces into a meaningful whole.
- Ability to work in the Digitalization Journey with Power BI and other Apps.
- Demonstrates strong commitment to the Company's Code of Conduct and role models for positive ethics and integrity.
