The plant's industrial footprint consists of Machining, Engine and Transmission Assembly, Engine Dynos, and Painting serving Powertrain Production and Circular Operations.
As Maintenance Director you will be accountable for the plant results ahead of the Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering teams, which support directly Operations and work closely in cooperation with other support areas such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality/VPS/Environment, Logistics, Business Control, and Digitalization & IT. You will be challenged to nurture your internal networking through cross-functional projects and gigs but also to expand it within GTO Curitiba divisions and sister Powertrain Production plants in Sweden, France, and the United States.

Targeted Background
- Any Engineering or Information Technology & Systems degrees
- Solid knowledge of types of maintenance - corrective and preventive, including predictive, risk-based, and reliability-centered - is key
- Experience in industry and/or shop floor environment including fabrication processes such as machining
- Minimum advanced English
- Solid experience in managing people and cross-functional teams
- Assets management - procurement of new machinery and obsolescence mitigation
- Dominance on Volvo Performance System, World-Class Manufacturing or Lean principles preferably focused on Professional and Autonomous Maintenance
- An enthusiast of Technology, Innovation and Digitalization
- Extended experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Quality are advantages
