**What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure**:
This position will give you a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS Lambda, ECS, Cloudfront, S3, Terraform, Docker and more.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with other software developers and product owners to understand the requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Implement, deploy, and maintain development, staging & production environments for cloud-based AWS micro-services architecture.
- Contribute to a healthy and collaborative team spirit within the large, interdisciplinary product teams based in United States and Switzerland as well as other Siemens Building Products locations worldwide.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in software design and development, especially focused on micro front ends / Webpack.
- 1+ years of experience in working with AWS services, especially Lambda, ECS, and Cloudfront.
- Good programming skills with experience in Node.js, Python, Typescript, and Angular.
- Familiarity with Web of Things (WoT) concepts.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using AWS or other platforms.
- Experience in using tools such as Git, Gitlab CI/CD or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
- Experience with TDD / BDD
- Familiarity with mDNS / DNS-SD
- Excellent communication and moderation skills in English and Portuguese, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
- A solution-oriented and independent working style.
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Good people skills and experience in project management.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
