**Boeing Brazil** is seeking a **Senior Global Regulatory Strategy Specialist** to join the Product &Services Safety (P&SS) - Global Regulatory Strategy team, working out of our Sao Jose dos Campos office.

The vision of Product & Services Safety is to create an enduring global culture where safety and mission success is the top priority resulting in the safest products and services for those who depend on, operate, build and maintain our products. The Global Regulatory Strategy team’s mission is to facilitate the development, integration, and communication, of global regulatory strategies across the enterprise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
- Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
- Works with customers and management to obtain approval.
- Identifies and manages changes to statement of work and assesses the impact of those changes, and incorporates changes into statement of work.
- Negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
- Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics.
- Plans, identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
- Assigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services.
- Directs proposal development to complete the work statement.
- Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
- Identifies corrective actions to improve project or team performance.
- Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
- Works under consultative direction.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Senior level of experience with Product & Services Safety
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in engineering, mathematics, science, business or law
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
- Legally able to work in Brazil

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

- Demonstrated experience working across organizational boundaries
- Experience working, networking & teaming with government, industry & business partners
- Open-minded and comfortable working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor while being a champion for regulatory initiatives, objectives and milestones
- Willingness to expand into technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop innovative and novel approaches
