Crew and marine operations manager
Responsibilities and duties
**You shall**:
Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
Recruitment
Assist the Senior Crew Officer on the hiring process when required: to collect all related documentation + registration (employee registry, benefits, policies, etc. )
Assist on the Newcomer induction
Coordinate Document filing (hard/ soft copies)
CREW LOGISTICS
Coordinate Travel tickets and Seafarer communications
To approve all travel arrangements and Hotel bookings
Keep the CMA Ships Crew Management System - TOUCH updated
TRAINING
Program vessel visits to inform, promote and discuss Crew issues as requested by Crew Manager
PLANNING
**Assist in**:
Planning of vacation/ holidays/ health care/ certificates/ etc.
Crew shiftings planning (12 months in advance) for all ratings
Ensure on board crew is in accordance with SMC
Keep payroll dept informed about crew shiftings on a weekly basis and crew members’ signing on/ signing off.
DOCUMENT CONTROL
**Assist in**:
Seafarers documentation control (expiry dates etc.)
Certificate’s appraisal approval in TOUCH
Updating & filing
CADETSHIP PROGRAM
Be liaise with schools as directed by the Senior Crewing Officer
REPORTING
Assist Crew Management on reporting as required
Minimum qualifications
**Degree**: Degree Required
**IT and System Requirements**: Good Computer Skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
**Language**: English (mandatory)

**Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience in crewing activities
