The Americas agriculture pricing team is a dynamic and expanding team responsible for key pricing benchmarks across the region.

**The Impact**: We are seeking a price specialist with corn market experience, able to drive our grains and oilseeds pricing coverage in South America. This is an exciting opportunity to drive S&P Global Platts agriculture assessments through to adoption as price benchmarks.

**What’s in it for you**:
Opportunities to represent Platts at industry events, face-to-face meetings, presenting at conferences, webinars, podcasts or other interviews and to further develop Platts as a significant presence in the Agriculture commodity space
Assist in identifying, developing and executing assessment opportunities to drive growth in the grains markets

**Responsibilities**:
Driving market coverage on Latin American grains and oilseeds, reporting on daily physical trading activity as well as bids, offers and other relevant information
Providing support on other grains and oilseeds markets as may be required
Identifying opportunities to refine methodology and help launch new price assessments
Building and managing our database of contacts
Writing a daily commentary and assessment rationale explaining the trends driving prices
Creating news stories and multi-media coverage
Building and maintaining transactions databases as well as daily crush and spread analysis
Representing Platts at industry events as well as in face-to-face meetings with market participants in order to drive market adoption
Collaborating with the Agriculture Analytics team

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
Two to five years’ experience of South American corn, soybeans or comparable agriculture market, accompanying awareness of exchange traded derivatives a benefit
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of role types and personalities, internally and externally
Existing network of contacts in the industry a benefit
Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
Excellent English writing skills
Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:
A solid understanding of economics principles and commodities markets fundamentals
Ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines
Existing network of contacts in the industry preferred
Degree in Agronomics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business or similar
