**Job Summary**:
Responsible for the company's accounting operations at a local level, including producing periodic financial reports, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records in collaboration with external accounting, exploring the functionalities of the Yardi Voyager General Ledger at a local level in close liaison with the team of San Diego and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risks, improve the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, mitigate potential tax risks (primary and ancillary obligations of the complex Brazilian tax system) and ensure that the reported results comply with the principles generally accepted accounting or international financial reporting standards; day-to-day management of external accounting and interface with Finance and Accounting in San Diego.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Support the company's management (Country Head/Director of Operations) in the preparation of financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
- Reviewing the external accounting provider's monthly reports for their timeliness and accuracy, reflecting current and future business needs.
- Preparing and forecasting cash flow in collaboration with the company's AR/AP financial coordinator;
- Monitoring and control of the performance of the business and the AP Wireless Brasil operation, comparing the realized with the budgeted on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis;
- Coordinate the annual budget process and monthly financial forecast, cash flow forecast, which involves coordinating activities, calendar, information gathering, assigning responsibilities with other areas: Acquisition, Marketing, Legal and Asset Management.
- Acting and supporting decision-making and management as a financial business partner in key business processes (Acquisition, Legal & Asset Management);
- Lead and monitor financial operational risk management at AP Wireless Brasil in response to San Diego guidelines and follow up on any internal and external audits;
- Collaborate on projects and other assignments working collaboratively with key areas involved, team members, colleagues, administrative staff, etc. and monitor the results, providing financial expertise.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Finance, or Accounting, from 4-year College or university

**Experience**:

- 4+ years of bookkeeping experience
- 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience

**Technical Skills**:

- Robust knowledge of Excel and Quickbooks
- ACCA/CIMA/CCAB or equivalent qualifications are a bonus
- Effective communication skills (i.e. the ability to explain financial issues to non-finance staff and to help colleagues use financial information well)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
