**Purpose of the Position**

The Junior Tax Analyst will guarantee all indirect tax requirement are being properly and timely covered according to Brazilian legislation. The junior tax analyst will identify and mitigate risks causes by internal and external changes due to the changes in the market. The junior tax analyst will assist in the preparation and analysis of tax compliance and reporting requirements. This role is essential to support the tax department in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with tax regulations. The Junior Tax Analyst will work closely with senior tax professionals to gain hands-on experience in tax issues and develop a solid understanding of tax concepts.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Supporting to calculate all indirect taxes( IPI, ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS).
- Supporting to calculate and submit EFD REINF, SPED Fiscal, EFD contributions, FCI, DCTF WEB, DIRF and CIAP.
- Preparing report for withholding tax from suppliers, update J1BTAX table according to exceptions.
- Responsible to issue correction letter and invoice writer to the customer or another internal propose according to tax law.
- Responsible to check cancelled invoices
- Support customer service to issue the invoices to the customers in order to avoid incorrect tax.
- Responsible to oversee the invoices issued against the company and guarantee the correct tax treatment.
- Supporting internal and external audits to obtain clean opinions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting documents
- Conduct research on tax regulations and emerging tax issues
- Support the analysis of income tax, transfer pricing, and indirect taxes
- Prepare documentation to support tax audits and inquiries
- Assist senior tax managers with various tax projects and compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to tax matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for tax compliance

**Requirements**:

- 3 years of experience in tax, accounting or relevant internship experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic understanding of tax principles and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- The ability to read, speak, and write fluently in English (additional languages are a plus)
