**LAM** **IS&T Business Partner **(DT-BP-01_008)

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

Manages IS&T for the countries in the scope of LAM Cluster (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Mexico and Venezuela):

- **Demand management**, secures new business needs are captured, assessed, qualified and handover to a project in a timely and seamless manner.
- **Business transformation**, supports business to deploy and adopt standard global solutions following the global strategy.
- **Manage local services**, development of cost-efficient services and standard solutions which performance and usage are measurable by KPIs.
- **Manage customer satisfaction**, learns about areas where customer expectations are not being met and plan improvement actions aligned with global strategy.
- **Manage business relations**, keeps in regular contact and listens to key business stakeholders; promotes the adoption of IS&T solutions; resolves problems quickly and efficiently; improves services level performance; monitoring incidents and keeping track of escalations; handles complaints with tact and urgency; reports IS&T roadmap, costs and performance.
- **Innovation player**, watches new technologies and best practices; identify digitalization opportunities in the business operations.
- **Standardization, **secures standard ways of working for all countries in your scope and consolidate information in a simple to easiest the decision taken process and status report

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**
- The IS&T Business Partner focuses on the business needs across transverse and extended ecosystem while maintaining global cost efficiency and customer satisfaction within the Cluster.
- Be a strong solution architect that bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions within Alstom.
- Build a strong relationship with executive senior management in the Cluster to align and coordinate their respective strategies with transformation programs and ensure demand management. This includes bids and tenders, contract support and local activities.
- Stay connected with business and the regional/cluster IT Business Partner to manage expectations regarding SLA delivery, IT spend, and specific IT challenges in the Cluster.
- Communicating & representing global IS&T Strategy, understanding, supporting and enabling the Global Digital Business Transformation program of the company.
- IS&T Transversal projects delivery with multi stakeholder's alignment. Collaborate with project teams when needed to ensure timely delivery and quality of key project deliverables in the Cluster.
- Drive the team to act as a change agent at the local sites to drive and enforce IT policies and guidelines.
- Participate in the change management efforts for implementation of policy changes, projects and/or transformation to the Alstom end-user or local infrastructure environment
- Help improve adherence global IT standards and processes and help adapt global procedures to specific local requirements when needed
- Be flexible for local needs but manage global processes, also remain available on-call for local emergency situations at times.

**MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES**

**Educational Requirements**_**Mandatory**:

- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technology, should have at between 5 and 7 years of experience in IT, preferably in areas like strategic partnering with executive level teams.

- Strong communication, general management and people management skills.
- Have participated in ERP implementation and/or program. SAP knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrates strong overall understanding of business processes to support functional workstreams through the IS&T landscape; ie: Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, HR, MMIS
- Should have sound understanding and relevant experience in managing ITIL processes and framework, IS&T tools, hardware, software and practices in order to effectively implement and support IT and End User Community.
