Position Summary:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Sales and Territory Management
- Use persuasion, logic and product expertise to promote and sell the various EV products to end users, A&E accounts, distributors and representatives.
- Make sales calls to customers (average 3.5 - 4 days a week)
- Maintains an up-to-date territory plan
- Perform specification work.
- Conduct product seminars for end users, A&E accounts, distributors, and representatives.
- Utilize E-prism to generate quotes. Train distribution to use E-Prism as well.
- Keep the Electronic Quote Log (EQL) updated
- Generates monthly order input forecast using EQL.
- Manage Distribution channel through
Position Requirements:
**TRAVEL**
The employee is required to spend much of the time travelling in the territory by air and car for customer sales calls and support of distribution in strategic sales calls and/or technical seminars at end users, A/E firms and OEMs
**QUALIFICATIONS to** perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year College or university preferably in Engineering. Minimum of three to five years of outside technical valve sales experience. Channel management, sale of valves or related products, or other capital equipment, is preferred.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports; business correspondence and procedures manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The person needs to be fluent in English (verbally and in writing).

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
