- What you will be doing
- Under BD & Sales Manager’s and Regional Sales Director´s supervision, plays an important role to assure maintenance of existing customers and grow business with specific/strategic local accounts.

Must also be actively working on identifying and selling to potential new prospects; Maintains strategic connections and relationships at different levels with existing Key Account Customers and New Key Customers.

Identify and develop opportunities and work together with regional BD team on common target customer database. Responsible for fulfillment of Sales related activities at local and regional level.

1. Maintenance and Growth of business with special local Accounts

2. Research potential customers and qualified contacts.

3. Generates the first contact with potential customers and contacts.

4. Creates professional sales presentations for potential customers with focus on positioning our value proposition.

5. Keeps regular follow up activities on all opportunities with existing or new potential customers and generate leads to the regional Sales Force.

6. Maintains all current market data on competition and forwards any observations to BD & Sales Manager.

7. In conjunction with management decides special discounts or tariffs to customers.

8. Accepts queries from customers and writes offers with the support of Operations / Customer Service.

9. Keeps the CRM Tool (Sales Force) updated at all times along the business development process.

10. Attends sales-meetings as well as training and schooling.

11. Represents the corporation at trade-fairs and conventions.

12. Constantly informs himself/herself regarding the newest developments in the market and new products or services of the own company as well as of the competition.

13. Be available for national and international business trips, if applicable.

14. Partners with key personnel across AmerisourceBergen sister companies to ensure alignment and open communication in plans and activities with shared common accounts - in support of the regional program to achieve development/growth objectives.
What your background should look like
- 1. 4 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain sales environment.

2. Knowledge of biotechnology sales environment, biologics industry and related procedures, regulations, and standards, as well as quality programs is highly desired.

3. Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, and business office operations.

4. Experience in developing relationships and business opportunities by executing strategic account penetration plans.

5. Have the ability to actively communicate and teamwork with different Sales Teams in countries in the region.

6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for the purpose of preparing reports and disseminating information.

7. Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working and business relationships with others across a range of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
