OSM Thome is currently seeking an experienced Ablebody Seafarer (AB) to join our team on board the Sealoader 1 vessel in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the maintenance and operation of deck equipment and machinery.
- Perform routine deck duties, including mooring and unmooring operations.
- Participate in safety drills and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Assist with cargo handling and stowage operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the deck area.
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs as required.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ablebody Seafarer (AB).
- Rule II/5
- Profic. in Surv. Craft & Resc. Boats certificate (CESS)
- Profic. in Fast Resc. Boats Cert (CERR)
- Tankerman Certificate Lowest Grade, Oil (EBPQ)
- Valid STCW certification.
- Proficiency in deck operations and equipment handling.
- Good knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
- Good communication skills in English.
