Airport Infrastructure

The Engineering and Sustainability Management team is composed of project, construction, and sustainability coordinator. One of the team’s primary responsibilities is the design and evaluation of engineering projects within the airport site, both inside and outside the terminals at Brasília Airport. All projects developed at Inframerica are reviewed by this management team before moving to execution. These projects range from preliminary designs to executive plans across various areas, including water supply network infrastructure, sewage collection, stormwater drainage, and runway pavement refurbishment projects.

Brasília International Airport has several key projects planned for execution in 2025 and 2026 as part of the ongoing Masterplan. These include improvements to international departure and arrival areas with new access points to optimize passenger flow, technical supervision of a new shopping mall within the airport site to enhance convenience for users and the surrounding community, and expansions in commercial areas such as dining, retail, and leisure to meet growing demand. Additionally, the plans cover the renovation of VIP lounges, new boarding bridges and gates, and significant infrastructure works, including the expansion of the aircraft apron and runway. This role will involve overseeing these projects from planning through execution.
**Responsabilidades e atribuições**
- Implement procedures and processes for working with BIM methodology, aligned with current regulations and international standards.
- Design architecture and engineering plans for the new remote boarding area.
- Develop architecture and engineering plans for the new boarding X-ray system.
- Prepare architectural and engineering designs for a metal warehouse in the cargo terminal.
- Design plans for a mezzanine and new international VIP lounge.
- Design infrastructure networks for urban facilities, including sewage, drainage, potable water, and sustainability aspects as part of the Masterplan.
- Plan roadway network designs for the Masterplan.
- Prepare architectural and engineering plans for various internal terminal projects aligned with the strategic planning of the board.
- Oversee the construction of the new boarding X-ray system.
- Manage the implementation of the new VIP parking area.
- Execute and modify road access for the air base and logistics warehouse.
- Conduct technical analysis for implementing commercial opportunities within the terminal and Masterplan.
- Execute the construction of the new remote boarding area.
- Oversee the construction of the metal warehouse in the cargo terminal.
- Lead the construction of the mezzanine and new international VIP lounge.
- Implement infrastructure and sustainability works for the MasterPlan.
- Carry out construction for multiple internal terminal projects as per the board’s strategic planning.
- Supervise and execute commercial works for MasterPlan units, including a shopping center, hypermarket, logistics center, and other facilities.
- Manage the runway renovation.
- Conduct technical assessments for implementing various commercial opportunities in the terminal and MasterPlan.

**Requisitos e qualificações**
- Engineering Degree
- Experience in engineering projects, civil works execution, and technical documentation.
- Knowlodge of AutoCAD, Revit, MsProject
- Intermediate English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrate passion, integrity and innovation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and governance skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide essential information to other teams or to support decision-making by senior airport management.
- Ability to prepare and manage schedules, budgets, and planning for civil construction projects.
