The role:
**As a Consultant - Managed Security Services**, you will lead and collaborate with the team in terms of implementing, On-boarding, delivering, and supporting security solutions based on customer requirements and industry knowledge. You will operate under defined timelines to deliver the services to customer and to ensure service quality by isolating the problems which are directly affecting our customer systems.
Using your experience, technical knowledge and SoftwareONE provided Service Build materials you will identify a customer’s needs and drive service onboarding, resolve sensitive security Incidents or critical Service Requests. If an escalation is needed, you have the support of SOC leads, Subject leads or Service Delivery managers.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment supporting SoftwareONE customers around the world. You will need to keep your skills up-to-date and relevant for the Cyber Security technologies which SoftwareONE offers services for.
You are the Subject Matter Expert for the service/ technology you have been chosen for and to provide complete technology solution, in coordination with product vendors as needed. Your excellent spoken language skills will be used for communication with customers and internal stakeholders and management for all level of technology and status updates.
- Maintain the technology you own by performing health checks and help detect incidents before there is any impact
- Follow Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Access Management processes based on ITIL and our IT-service management tool.
- Responsible for tailoring a customer specific service delivery that precisely meets the needs of the customer as per the service order issued
- Partners and co-owns security domains, establishes solid publisher relationships, ensuring L1/L2
- Train the operation and on-boarding resources and ready for deployment and delivering best-in-class customer experience
- Responsible for assisting solution specialists in providing technical details in RFP preparation, product demo’s and delivery of Proof of Concept (PoC)
- Creation of training content and delivery of training workshops to new customers and service delivery, as needed
- Analyze & gather technical/sizing requirement from large & complexity client environment and perform required research and investigation to identify and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals based on client requirements
- Develop overall solutions including high-level design, assisting in completing technical details within proposals, statements of work (SOW), service design and bills of materials (BOM)
- Maintain a high-level of competitive product, managed security services and maintenance knowledge related to Endpoint Security solutions
- Ability to complete OEM / product vendor technical certifications and do train the trainer as required
- Develop service delivery ramp up plans and strategically execute against the plan within the timeframe committed for smooth service delivery and ensure adherence to SLAs/KPIs
- Maintain and report on service delivery, SLAs/KPIs achieved,
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and expand scope as per capabilities
- Handle escalated security incident through full life-cycle, making recommendation for preventive controls and improvement of security posture of the customers.
- Take appropriate action for containment, eradication and recovery from the
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging cyber-attack threats, malwares etc. with potential to harm company systems and networks. Make recommendations and
- implements countermeasures to mitigate potential security threats.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of IT security measurement and reporting systems to aid in monitoring effectiveness of IT Security programs.
- Develop, revise and maintenance Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions of the SOC to the high standards and support/train level 1 engineers.
- Develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with teamsand external clients.
What we need to see from you:
- 5-8 year's experience working with security technologies, SOC, monitoring, detecting, triaging and supporting security solutions
- Intermediate English Level
- Spanish knowledge is a plus
- Expert in a specific domain and knowledge in various other security technologies
