Introduction

The Blue Studio Agency Management Lead plays a vital role ensuring IBM Marketing has a cross-functional, motivated, and innovative roster required to augment our internal talent to create high quality, on-brand creative experiences.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Blue Studio Agency Management Lead plays a vital role in ensuring that IBM Marketing has the cross-functional, motivated and innovative team needed to grow our in-house talent and create high-quality, on-brand creative experiences. This role encompasses 4 core principles:
1. strategic partner,

2. external agency management,

3. relationship health and

4. operational excellence.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

The Blue Studio Agency Management Lead will report to the Blue Studio Global Practice Director, Engagement and Agency. Based on the expectations of this role, the Agency Management Lead should have experience working in marketing and/or digital services, alongside or in-house at agencies and/or production partners.

Strategic partner
- Organize and guide the development of the list of external partners in the Americas based on the needs of Blue Studio practices to take creative work to the next level
- Evaluate partner lists in APAC and EMEA to ensure there are consistent, high-quality options for creating content and brand experiences locally
- Participate in quarterly reviews of potential agency partners and make decisions about which agency partners should be integrated
- Liaise with marketing, procurement, legal and wider commercial controls departments

External Agency Management
- Understand service offerings (strengths and weaknesses) of each Agency Partner to help connect work with the right service provider as needed.
- Onboard + enable internal and external teams (w/Practice delegates) on how to keep IBM safe
- Ensure appropriate SOWs are received from Agency Partners, and reviews them for compliance, structural logic, costs, and value.
- Create purchase orders and work with the creative team to ensure goods and services are received as scoped.

Relationship Health
- Run Partner Management system (briefing sessions, showcases, etc.) to keep teams enthusiastic about working alongside IBM
- Manage calendar and schedule partner capabilities sessions, with the goal of hosting 2-3 each month
- Join quarterly business reviews to celebrate successes and discuss opportunities for growth
- Measure partner performance through end-of-project surveys
- Update best practices document for working with vendors based on feedback from the surveys
- Structure ‘collaboration sessions’ to triage poor performance and create action plans for improvement

Operational Excellence
- Lead weekly forecast meetings to ensure content budget is being spent wisely and tracking to quarterly allowances
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure invoices are submitted and approved in a timely manner. Ensure evidence of work is collected, stored, and submitted.
- Manage escalation of service issues against assigned area of responsibility.

Fluent in English.

Bachelor's Degree, Interest in creative services, Self-motivated, Excellent written and oral communication in English, Detail-oriented.
