All about the role:

The teams in there are not passive or reactive - they partner with business areas to offer their expertise in needs that are constantly evolving, contributing to understand and define what Electrolux's employees need to deliver the extraordinary experiences our company aims for. What you'll do:
In detail, you will:

- Manage the business strategically, with the objective to leverage, to promote complexity reduction, simplification, modularization, cost performance and innovation;
- Develop and retain strong supplier relationships;
- Manage relationships / partnerships with cross functional teams and internal stakeholders;
- Manage operations of data research, analytics, and direct material category strategies;
- Support the development of annual budgets and 5-year strategic plans for the Business Area, identifying opportunities and risks;
- Generate initiatives and projects to deliver productivity targets;
- Lead internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) as a member of a cross-functional sourcing team;
- Provide indirect and collaborative leadership to the IndOp purchasing teams to ensure on-time project execution & implementation of category strategies;
- Assist in the implementation and expansion of payment terms;
- Evaluate and propose actions and initiatives around simplification and complexity reduction, participating in negotiations and use creative ways to drive value by the utilization of Value Based Sourcing;
- Support Program Management on new model launches and platform refresh programs;
- Work with the Global Category and Business Area Purchasing to build and deploy a category strategy that aligns all Business Areas requirements.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:
You have:

- Bachelor's degree (preferably Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical) or Economics)
- Solid experience with strategic sourcing, category management, or equivalent;
- Experience with management and development of cost reductions/value creation solutions;
- Knowledge of management of strategic supplier relationships (relationship building, performance, development and integration);
- Advanced English (any other language is an asset).

Where you'll be:
You will be based at the Curitiba administrative office. Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux’s support teams. It will be necessary to have availability for eventual travel.

This position is a global role and the selection process is open to people located in Charlotte and Juarez as well.
