Job Summary:
Flowserve is currently looking for a Production Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing production planning and scheduling for parts manufacturing. You will work closely with the Line Supervisor to make sound business decisions that positively impact the ability to meet the needs of our customers while satisfying quality, inventory, cost and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Management of all production planning inputs: sales orders, OEM forecasts, custom / special orders, and strategic build plans.

Purchase/Manufacturing decision making based on best cost benefit aiming to meet contractual deadlines.

Use the MRP system, analyze sales forecasts and plan production plan

Prepare and distribute production plans / weekly work order dispatch lists.

Issue/release/perform maintenance on production orders

Monitor and control the production steps

Perform maintenance on the production orders aiming to meet the Forecast variations.

Follow up the purchase orders/make Follow-up with the purchasing sector.

Help management to solve problems with late shipments, material shortages, customer schedule changes, and customer order cancellations.

Preparation, coordination, and participation in physical inventory count.

Controlling shipment forecasts for each material ordered.

Initiating and coordinating corrective actions from suppliers for receiving non-conforming materials.

And any other assigned tasks

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Mechanical Technician and/or studying Mechanical Engineering, Production or similar.

Reading and interpretation of Technical Drawings.

2-3 years experience in the function
Knowledge in master scheduling, production planning and detailed scheduling, demand management, purchasing, and cost accounting techniques

Experience in PCP, Advanced Excel. VBA/Macros

Intermediate English (desirable)
