Tech Artist

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and optimize shaders, materials, particle effects, and animation setups to achieve desired visual effects while ensuring performance across various mobile devices and platforms.
- Troubleshoot problems and assist the team in unblocking issues related to UI, arts, and VFXs;
- Work closely with artists and developers to integrate assets into the game engine, ensuring they meet technical requirements and performance standards.
- Produce and maintain documentation on tools, methods, processes, and engine limits for consultation and future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and design best practices.
- Be a solid teammate, brainstorm and partner with other designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming or entertainment industry;
- Knowledge of the game development process, visual design principles, technical constraints, and best practices for mobile game development;
- Programming skills, with proficiency in the C# language;
- Proficiency in the Unity Game Engine and experience with asset pipelines;
- Knowledge in the development of Shaders and VFX;
- Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate ideas clearly, and accept feedback gracefully;
- Knowledge of animation principles and experience with animation software such as ToonBom Harmony, Adobe Animate, Unity Animator, and others;
- Intermediate English;

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with Spine or Similar;
- Basic knowledge of UX best practices;
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with game development;
- Experience with mobile development;
- Experience with responsive design.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or related field.
