Role
The Marketing Automation & Systems Assistant will serve as the technical backbone of Publicity For Good's marketing operations, responsible for building, managing, and optimizing automated marketing systems, funnels, and advertising campaigns. This position ensures seamless execution of marketing initiatives through expert management of GoHighLevel (GHL), ad platforms, email automation, and integrated marketing technologies. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and strategically minded, capable of translating marketing objectives into automated systems that drive measurable growth while maintaining PFG's client-focused, purpose-driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize complete marketing funnels in GoHighLevel including landing pages, workflows, automations, and email/SMS campaigns for lead nurturing and product launches
- Integrate GHL with third-party tools and implement multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, and social platforms
- Set up, launch, and monitor paid advertising campaigns on Meta, Google Ads, and with proper audience targeting and budget management
- Monitor ad performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and make data-driven optimization recommendations to improve campaign ROI
- Set up conversion tracking, pixels, and analytics across all marketing platforms and maintain marketing technology stack
- Track key marketing metrics and identify optimization opportunities from campaign data
- Document marketing processes, SOPs, and system configurations while ensuring data hygiene across all systems
- Collaborate with marketing team to translate strategies into technical execution and coordinate with creative team on asset specifications
- Provide technical guidance to team members on marketing systems and proactively flag performance issues or opportunities to leadership

- Marketing funnels and automation sequences are built, tested, and launched on schedule with high conversion performance
- Advertising campaigns are set up accurately, monitored continuously, and optimized for maximum ROI
- Marketing technology systems operate seamlessly with minimal downtime and optimal integration
- Campaign performance dashboards are updated daily with accurate, actionable insights
- Marketing processes are documented and standardized for consistent, scalable execution
- Team is empowered with efficient marketing systems that reduce manual work and increase campaign effectiveness
- All marketing campaigns maintain brand standards while achieving measurable business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience with CRM systems including advanced workflows, funnel building, and automation setup
- Hands-on experience managing Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms
- Proficiency with email marketing automation tools and marketing integrations
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, pixels, analytics implementation, and campaign performance metrics
- Knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals: funnel strategy, lead generation, conversion optimization, and A/B testing
- Experience with analytics platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across platforms
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management across multiple campaigns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven, goal-oriented mindset focused on measurable results
- Proactive self-starter who works independently in remote environments, with strong communication skills and adaptability to new technologies
