Position Summary:
Our partner, a growing streaming and marketing optimization product company, is looking to add a BI Analyst to its team. In this role, your focus will be on analyzing operational business data and transforming it into meaningful insights and actionable strategies. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, extract and analyze data from various platforms, and create actionable reports. You will play a key role in providing valuable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Therefore, the ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent data manipulation skills, and a passion for transforming data into actionable business intelligence.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field/experience.
3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
Experienced in SQL and advanced SQL queries, to extract and manipulate data.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and how to design effective data structures for reporting and analysis.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Collect and extract data from SQL databases using advanced queries and data modeling.
Utilize data analysis techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
Develop reports to provide valuable insights to stakeholders that will support data-driven decision-making.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and identify business needs and document reporting requirements.
Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to anticipate future trends and outcomes, helping in strategic planning.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting by validating data integrity.
Maintain documentation of reports, queries, and data processes.
Identify opportunities to improve data-related processes, data quality, and reporting efficiency, resolving data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Stay updated with the latest BI trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating best practices into work, to improve reporting capabilities.
