Job Title: Maximo Consultant

Duration: 10 Months, could be extended to a year

Location: Brazil – Remote/Onsite as required

Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual Maximo Consultant based in Brazil to support the rollout of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9). This is a fixed-term opportunity for professionals with strong experience in Maximo implementations, excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with business stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements

- Translate business needs into clear system specifications and documentation

- Coordinate with local and global teams to ensure smooth project execution

- Develop and execute test cases for functional and integration testing

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage defect resolution

- Assist in planning and validating data migration activities

- Provide end-user training and post-rollout support

- Maintain comprehensive documentation in both Portuguese and English

Role Expectations:

- Act as a liaison between Brazilian teams and global stakeholders

- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle

- Support go-live activities, including weekend availability when required

- Work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Collaborate with developers, testers, and data migration teams

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience with IBM Maximo (preferably MAS 8 or 9)

- Strong understanding of Maximo modules: Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory

- Experience with MAS in hybrid cloud or containerized environments is a plus

- Fluent in Portuguese and professionally proficient in English

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of IBM MAS architecture and Red Hat OpenShift

- Experience in international rollout projects

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
