Job Summary

  • We are seeking a 3D Designer Manager to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop in-store communication concepts for Samsung Carriers and Retailers.
  • This role requires a balance of creative thinking and strong leadership skills to partner and lead teams in developing content for various projects.
  • As part of the Retail team, you will be accountable for identifying and communicating a high-quality visual style.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply brand guidelines in retail spaces, creating consumer-friendly designs.
  • Brief clearly to agencies with client leadership, targets, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Presentation design concepts and market-leading experiences to top management (if necessary) in English.
  • Manage internal designers and VMD agency's design teams (Cheil VMD, creative part).
  • Be highly creative, imagining and communicating vision to leadership and teams. Develop content for various products assets (2D/3D).
  • Prepare and review layouts for global concepts, choosing and placing visual elements that enhance message attractiveness and clarify consumer understanding.
  • Work closely with agencies as a team player to ensure strategic goals and objectives are met, delivering effective feedback across art disciplines: concept, environment, and lighting.
  • Understand the creative process and follow jobs from startup to completion.
  • Secure local/global approval for layouts and final arts, filtering multiple sources of analysis and feedback into visual direction.
  • Participate and lead in Kick-off and status meetings.
Requirements:
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Graduate degree in Design, Graphic Arts, or related field, with post-graduation education preferred.
  • Proven experience in Technology and/or Retail industries (Samsung work experience is a plus).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Clear communication attitude to keep all stakeholders aligned on design concepts and development.
  • Expertise in space design and consumer experience excellence.
  • Presentation capability starting with data analysis results to design concept storylines.
  • Ability to lead clients with clear goals, moving design teams forward.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, adapting to changing demands.
