The Opportunity:

Responsible for sales of products within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities, supporting customers to improve their operational performance, reliability and productivity, save energy and reduce the environmental impact.

How You´ll Make an Impact:

1. Volume and profit
Sells products to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups. Provide support to the customer by defining the technical characteristics of the product in order to meet the technical specification of customers and, at the same time, providing lower cost solutions to meet the production margins established by the organization.
2. Customer relations
Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product portfolio offering and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Have meetings and discussions with the internal/external clients to understand their needs. Provide the best setup solution for Hitachi and its clients and supporting them with technical clarifications regarding product/solution characteristics, behavior or maintenance procedures.
3. Sales plans
Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
4. Sales
Creates added value for the customer and Hitachi and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicates details in accordance with Hitachi offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions). Provide data about local competitors, portfolio.
5. Marketing
Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers. Initiate benchmarks internal and external for product and product functionality. Be informed about product developments on global level.
6. New market opportunities
Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Analyze electrical parameters measurement data layout, interpreting the information and defining/proposing the solution.
7. Administration
Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed. Provide support to engineering, procurement and production to clarify questions of product at the time of its manufacture.
8. Offer preparation
Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
9. Job Description

Developing business opportunities from an early stage for each market segment with the support of factory specialists
Local introductions of new products based on GPG Global Strategy
Meet customers approach SAM/GAM
Recommendations and strategical analysis
Bring product competence in the Hub / FES
Participate with product expertise for marketing campaigns
Provide market feedback to GPMM /Hub
Development channels together with FES
Together with Market Manager, drive 'dedicated resources' in respective countries
Lead the review and closing of contracts or purchase orders with clients, in compliance with mandatory Hitachi Energy guidelines

Your Background:

- Bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Advanced/Fluent English level.
- CRM SalesForce.
- Preferable knowledge about high-voltage products, high-voltage equipment market, technical standards, quality standards, techniques of analysis and solution of problems, focus on results and satisfaction of the customers, basic software for communication and calculation.
- Market and Business Intelligence, Processes and Sales Tools.
- Contract, Risk Management, Customer Relations, Sales Techniques, Service Portfolio, and Applied Technical Sales Knowledge.
- Desirable knowledge in the High Voltage Portfolio and Energy Market.
