Role: SAP Backend Developer

Location: on-site 3 days/week along with the team in Sao Leopoldo (Brazil)

High English level is required , or at least B2 (Upper Intermediate).

Duration : 6 months contract (possible extensions)

Selected candidates will be working from Brazil but supporting EMEA time zone (European Client).

Job Description:

As a Backend Developer, you will design and implement robust services for SAP cloud applications using modern frameworks and SAP BTP.

The AI-powered solution retrieves information from backend systems, enabling 24/7 self-service for partners and drastically reducing resolution time while easing operational workload

Key Responsibilities

- Build backend services with Node.js.

- Develop extensions using CAP and integrate with SAP S/4HANA.

- Optimize performance and ensure security in cloud development.

Required Qualifications:

- Strong experience in Node.js.

- Knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA Cloud, OData.

- Familiarity with API and generative AI.

- Experience with Agile methodology.

Tools & Technologies:

- Git and build automation.

- SAP Business Application Studio or VS Code.

- Postman (or equivalent) for API validation.

- Jira Nice to Have

- Experience with SAP GenAI Hub.

- Experience with CAP.
