PL/SQL DEVELOPER

At Qaracter, we're looking for a Senior PL/SQL Engineer to join a strategic development team for one of the leading financial institutions in São Paulo. This is a great opportunity to work on mission-critical core systems, in a hybrid model that values both flexibility and collaboration.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, and triggers
- Work on core banking systems and large-scale data processes
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
- Provide support for application releases and production incidents
- Follow agile practices and participate in planning and retrospectives

What We're Looking For:

- 5+ years of experience working with PL/SQL and Oracle databases
- Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and large datasets
- Understanding of banking operations, core systems, or financial products
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, Shell scripting, and version control systems
- Solid communication skills and problem-solving mindset
- English level B2 or higher to collaborate in international environments
- Based in São Paulo and open to a hybrid work model
