Job Overview:

The Security & Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for leading the implementation of security services and asset protection across all logistics activities, including transportation, warehouses, and hubs. This role oversees the Security & Loss Prevention department, conducting audits and investigations to minimize potential losses for the organization. Coordinates responses to on-road incidents such as thefts, pilferages, and accidents, and evaluates vendors to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies. As a key member of the logistics team, they collaborate with operational teams, internal departments like Legal and Finance, as well as external security authorities. Additionally, they work with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve existing solutions, explore new approaches, conduct industry benchmarking, and track established metrics for loss prevention.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Be aware of the goals and direction of the Company and align all decisions and activities to support that direction and achieve the goals, which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements.
- Lead investigations of internal and external occurrences, some cases involving police department in all states.
- Serve as department's liaison and security matter expert.
- Develop business cases which receive the required approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired changes
- Drive process improvements and increase efficiency by apply innovation initiatives (AI, drones, new technologies, etc.).
- Designing and implementing the security and loss prevention strategy, standards and procedures.
- Driving internal and external (vendors) audits to ensure that losses are kept at a minimal level.
- Designing security procedures for all logistics processes, mainly for transportation and warehouses.
- Effectively address security incidents. Detecting and addressing any discrepancies/pilferage for key metrics.
- Participate in projects like warehouse layout (placement or cameras, security system, etc) and transportation monitoring center software as examples.

- Background & Experience

- A completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Prior experience in law enforcement, asset protection, audit, risk management or other related security field
- Familiarity with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, alarms, and CCTVs;
- Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities;
- Analytical leader experienced in performance based, action and results oriented management, and effective problem-solver;
- Ability to take calculated risks and challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations.
- English level intermediate is mandatory.
