Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps solutions in Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, with a strong background in cloud architecture and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for retail applications.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and related tools.
- Support day-to-day DevOps operations and contribute to environment stability.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system optimization.
- Ensure digital security, perform vulnerability management, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Troubleshoot networking, infrastructure, and deployment issues.

Essential Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in technology with a strong focus on DevOps and cloud engineering.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, AKS, networking, storage, load balancers, and security.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools.
- Solid programming experience in one or more languages: C#, Java, or Python.
- Strong SQL and database experience (MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
- Skilled in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation frameworks.
- Experience applying modern Service Delivery methods — Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and ITIL-based processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to work across teams.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, firewalls, and network security groups.

Desired Qualifications

- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert — validating expertise in designing and implementing DevOps practices on Azure.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert — demonstrating advanced Azure solution design skills.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — validating Kubernetes deployment and management proficiency
- Experience with retail or wholesale trading systems is a plus.
