Junior Copywriter

We are seeking a creative, fast-learning, results-oriented, and English-speaking Junior Copywriter to join our Brand team in Brazil for Open English and Open English Junior. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive growth in a market that transforms lives: education. Also a team that's embracing the latest trends in advertising and content to deliver our most impactful marketing campaigns.

In this new role, you will be responsible for:

- Creating content for online and offline Ads for the Brazilian market, with short, objective, and clear messages, using persuasive and humorous language. This includes specially short videos to run in various digital platforms.Also static creatives, banners, web pages, etc.
- Developing organic content for our social media profiles, including both educational and entertaining content, and staying on top of trends to use them effectively.
- Following brand guidelines, including tone, messaging strategy, to meet business objectives.
- Communicating effectively with graphic designers and video editors to ensure the quality of execution matches the briefing.
- Proofreading and Editing: Reviewing and refining content for accuracy, grammar, style, and consistency.
- Suggesting new ideas for continuous improvement.
- Staying on top of market trends in the creative industry by conducting daily research, benchmarking ideas, proposing innovative concepts, and building a rich cultural background and repertoire.
- Working under the guidance of the brand manager, learning from their experience while contributing to the overall success of marketing and advertising efforts.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Collaborating closely with other members of the creative, brand, and marketing teams to develop cohesive and impactful campaigns.

Selection Criteria

- Although the position is 100% remote, the junior copywriter must be based in São Paulo for in-person meetings when required.
- Conversational in English and fluent in Portuguese (native speaker).
- Bachelor's degree in Social Communications, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with copywriting for ads and social media, including both digital and offline content such as social media ads, newsletters, websites, SMS, folders, and flyers. Experience creating video scripts for ads is mandatory.
- Experience in creating humorous content.
- A highly motivated, creative individual.
- A fast learner.
- Results-oriented.
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work.
- Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Project Management tools like Jira, Trello, etc., and online communication tools like Slack and Zoom (desirable but not mandatory).
