Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the front end of the agent assist chatbot and email auto-drafting tool using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build dynamic UI components that integrate with real-time AI services and backend APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend developers to create seamless and intuitive user interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to interface with services built in Python and data stored in PostgreSQL.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
- Translate product requirements and user feedback into elegant, functional interfaces.
- Assist in estimating and planning throughout the software development life cycle.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

- Proven experience in building complex front-end applications using React.
- Ability to write and maintain backend services and scripts using Python.
- Knowledge of database design, querying, and optimization, particularly using Postgres
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to GraphQL, and/or Azure Functions and Azure OpenAI
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with backend services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with other developers, quality engineers (QE), ops engineers and support engineers to ensure smooth deployment and continual operation
- Passion for developing good software
- Experience participating in design discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity or experience with Agile engineering practices (test driven development, continuous integration and pair programming, etc.)
- Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache, HTTP Proxies)
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
