Our client is on a mission to transform how people experience and interact with the built environment. They're building a next-generation AEC platform that combines advanced 3D rendering, LiDAR, and AI and they need a founding engineer to bring it to life.

What You'll Be Building
As one of the first engineers on the team, you'll shape the technical foundation of the entire platform:
- Architect and build a performant, scalable 3D engine for digital inspections and spatial analysis.
- Solve technically demanding challenges like real-time visualisation of large LiDAR datasets, procedural geometry rendering with Three.js, and integration with AI models.
- Work across the full stack frontend (React, TypeScript), backend (Rust or C++), and cloud infrastructure (e.g. GCP or AWS).
- Collaborate closely with the founders to define the roadmap, refine the product, and make critical technical decisions.
- Set engineering best practices and foster a strong culture of code quality, innovation, and curiosity.
What They're Looking For
They're not hiring just a developer they want a builder with a product mindset. Someone who thrives in early-stage business and enjoys turning complex ideas into working software.
Must-Haves
- 5-10 years of experience in software engineering, ideally across both frontend and backend.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in React and Three.js.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building without a blueprint.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with C++, Rust, or other systems-level languages.
- Background in OpenGL, WebGL, or real-time 3D graphics.
- Familiarity with LiDAR, point clouds, or spatial/geometric datasets.
