About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and support large-scale cloud operations across multiple providers and SaaS solutions. This role involves supporting high-visibility events (such as major live broadcasts and global digital launches) and contributing to the delivery of key product updates, infrastructure improvements, and business continuity initiatives.
You’ll be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance, optimizing performance and cost, and driving automation across the DevOps lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage cloud-based infrastructure across AWS and other providers.
- Lead migrations from EC2 to Kubernetes-native environments.
- Support large-scale live and product events with reliable, scalable DevOps practices.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps automation to streamline deployments.
- Manage security response, incident management, and compliance across systems.
- Maintain observability and monitoring frameworks for critical services.
- Optimize cloud spend and ensure cost-efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application delivery, load balancing, caching, and backend performance.
- Support frontend (CDN/load balancing) and backend (DB/caching) delivery management.
- Contribute to Agile development cycles and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure management.
- Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with serverless technologies and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of observability, configuration management, and system monitoring.
- Experience with security response, compliance, and incident resolution.
- Knowledge of frontend delivery (CDN, load balancing) and backend management (DB, caching).
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and development lifecycle management.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and SaaS administration.
- Experience in governance, cost optimization, and compliance management.
- Understanding of application workloads, both frontend and backend.
