The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Job description

Understanding of local accounting GAAP requirements.

- Preparing a list of all local compliances with the help of consultant if required & ensuring compliance of the same.
- Getting the local books prepared including raising of customer invoices in local system, Intercompany invoices in local system, accounting of local vendor invoices, fixed assets, and provisions.
- Getting the payroll process with the help of consultant and ensuring timely payment of salary to employees including full and final settlement of employees.
- Ensuring payment of employee claims as processed by shared service team.
- Ensuring local books are maintained as maintained in SAP by shared services team are reconciled with the help of consultant & shared services team.
- Ensuring timely preparation of financial accounts as per local GAAP and getting the same audited within corporate timelines.
- Ensuring timely payment of advance tax and filing of return with the help of local consultant & shared services team.
- Ensuring timely payment of Indirect taxes and timely filing of returns with the help of local consultant & shared services team.
- Basic understanding of working knowledge of SAP is preferable.

Requirement

- Qualification must be Local CPA or equivalent local accounting degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial control/accounting
- Fluent in English & Native langugae is mandatory.
