Position: Power BI Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 month contract

Pay range: $18-$20 USD per hour (40 hours per week)

Working hours: 9am-5pm EST

About the Role:

We are seeking a technically strong Power BI Developer to join our team supporting the senior living hospitality sector. This role involves building scalable Power BI models, developing insightful reports, and performing data analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports.
- Translate user stories into actionable reporting solutions.
- Perform SQL-based data querying and analysis across multiple data sources.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing reports and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) during project meetings.
- Participate in daily huddles and agile development cycles.
- Support both new report development and maintenance of legacy reports.

Required Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer (beyond visualization).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database querying.
- Solid understanding of data analysis and business intelligence principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Background in the hospitality industry, especially senior living or hotel operations.
